Hop into spring with our thrilling Easter Egg Hunt! Held the Saturday before Easter at Veterans Memorial Park in Orange City, this event is packed with fun. Kids can snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, play country games, and enjoy a free hot dog, chips, and a drink. Watch the Easter Bunny arrive in style on a fire truck to kick off the hunt for over 6,000 eggs! To ensure everyone has a fair chance, the hunt is divided into age categories, including a handicap-accessible area. Each age group has two special prize-winning eggs. Don’t miss out on this egg-citing event!
Help us gear up for the school year with our School Supply Drive! We focus on collecting supplies for local schools, especially River Springs Middle School, which often receives fewer donations. You can make a difference by hosting a school supply drive and ensuring every student starts the year prepared.
Get ready to make a splash at our Summer Splash Bash at Veterans Memorial Park! This family-friendly event is a blast for all ages. Enjoy water guns, buckets of water, an obstacle course, water relay races, and more. Parents, grandparents, and kids are all encouraged to join in the fun. We even have a special toddler section for the little ones to splash around. Bring towels, drinks, and a picnic lunch, and prepare for a couple of hours of soaking wet fun!
Dare to be scared at our Annual Haunted House Fundraiser located at 222 E University Ave. Orange City. Since 1978, we've been transforming our 3,000 square foot building into a spine-chilling experience. Open the last two weekends of October, this event is our biggest fundraiser and the best haunted house in the area. The funds raised help us support many wonderful programs for children in our community. Join us for a frightfully good time!
Spread holiday cheer with our Operation Santa Program! Funded by local sponsors and community donations, we aim to provide up to $100 per child for food and gifts to families in need. We also support up to six unassisted (homeless) youth with personalized gift packages. Our biggest sponsors include The City of Orange City, Manatee Festival, and Walmart. Help us make the season bright for everyone!
Celebrate the holiday season with Lunch with Santa! This event is held on the second Saturday of December, the same day as the Orange City Christmas Parade, this event takes place at the Orange City Sorosis Club. Kids can get their pictures taken with Santa, receive a coloring book, crayons, and a balloon (while supplies last), and enjoy a free hot dog, chips, and a drink. Don't forget to catch the Christmas Parade and our festive float. We look forward to seeing you there!
Student Volunteers are encouraged to help us keep our city beautiful with the Valentine Park Clean-Up! As part of the City's Adopt-a-Park Program, we organize clean-up days to maintain this lovely park.
